WebThe Tau Ochre is a layer, so if you're not putting like a zillion layers, it should be somewhat transparent. If the XV-88 doesn't give you the finish you want (too light/to the yellow side) I'd start with base of 88 and then using some shade with a generous hand to darken it (Agrax Earthshade or Seraphin Sepia might work) and then the Light Ochre.
