Likes/dislikes? How do they compare (if you own more than one)? Basically any thoughts or feelings about them. Thanks a lot. … Web26 de may. de 2024 · The Nazgul isn't a pickup for anything but a lot of gain. If you want at least some versatility, I like the Pegasus or Black Winter in the bridge better. The Dave M set is based on a classic set, so any good reviews/criticism of those pickups will essentially apply to that set, too. Reactions:Stevanie8213 S Stevanie8213 Junior Member Joined

Web29 de ago. de 2024 · The Nazgul is a more polished mid forward modern sound comparatively, though it can absolutely do nastier, grindier tones. The cleans are decent and the splits are ok. Web25 de mar. de 2024 · In the past, my favorite passives have been the Black Winter and the Duncan Distortion. I've also liked the JB, but I don't think it's what I'm looking for right now. I also want to advantage of this opportunity to try some other pickups out rather than going for something that I've already tried. I want a pickup with power. Web28 de may. de 2016 · I would go black winter. It is my favorite of these, very versatile. It will definitely do Thrash well. The Nazgul is the most aggressive sounding of the lot. I find it hard to use for anything but all out or crystal clean cleans. It has a bit of a chainsaw grind at all times. The pegasus sounds a bit tame for you.
