But if you have a CV on the rear driveline it could be something different, but doubtful since at least one on the pinion has to be a 1310, unless somebody has made some modification. I looked up the 1310 which is what I’ll try, some have extra numbers tacked on like an 1310-x so and so.

If you drive through a lot of water/mud and don't grease your ujoints or shafts they will fail. I had a squeak for a while and then a ujoint grenaded. I think it's my passenger side axle u-joint. There's play in it. I don't think they're zerk greasable u-joints in there.
Web21 feb 2015 · As far as the U-joint, put the t-case in neutral, chock the rear tires and set the e-brake. Jack up the front and spin the front tires with the wheels turned. You should be able to hear where it's coming from. If it is the U-joint, they're not too difficult to replace, and cheap enough too.
