WebJan 25, 2015 · Gocode binary is executed by the editor and then it tries to connect to a gocode server, if it fails to do so it starts one. The only reason why it will fail to execute itself is that gocode binary is not in the PATH somehow, but that's where confusion begins. WebAug 7, 2024 · Perhaps you could do this trick of a sort. Use your PATH and create a gocode bash script which prints all arguments it gets into a log file and then invoke the real gocode. It'd be interesting to see what arguments neovim passes to gocode. Maybe expand("%:s") in vim somehow ends up with an empty string. Unsaved go file?
