"The Sound of Her Voice" is a primarily gimmick-free drama about characters.

WebNov 2, 1998 · Lately, DS9 seems to go for broke whenever dealing with its core material, but this episode has a different feel to it: It's somewhat smaller and a bit less far-reaching, and it does what it sets out to do very well. WebFeb 8, 1993 · Jammer's original reviews of DS9, Voyager, Enterprise and BSG are wonderful in that they offer the perspective of the analytical viewer *live* on a release-by-release basis. The TNG/TOS reviews also try to capture that same spirit, but obviously there's a discrepancy in that the shows were long off the air when the reviews were written. WebNov 3, 1997 · Quark and Ziyal break their allies out of jail in a scene that strains credulity but is entertaining nonetheless. I liked Quark's clever way of rendering the Cardassian guard unconscious; and I liked even better when he phasered the two Jem'Hadar guards, and especially his silent, stunned reaction to his own action. Terrorism, paranoia, religious conflicts, factional divisions, wars, and political intrigue belong to the 21st century. Homefront is a delicate story that makes you feel like a 9/11 size event occured in the deferation. custom relish mary one
